Pete was born and raised in New York City, graduated from Fordham University, and subsequently served as an officer in The U.S. Marine Corps. Once he received his master's degree he went to work on Wall Street for over 23 years. After the tragedy of 9/11 occurred he noticed New York City being torn by the very strings that bound us. He has a passion and enthusiasm for this great City, and his belief in New York, the people, especially each other have inspired him to be part of the everyday happenings in the Grande Mela (Big Apple). He has an avid love for food, good times, and honest people. His Mom and Dad have been the cornerstone of his upbringing. His Dad taught him to persevere in life, and to work hard for whatever you want. Pete's Mom taught him to care for everyone and to be able to say hello to every person you come across in the world. Pete is a real New Yorker, having been educated in Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Manhattan. He says he has had an educational experience or two in Staten Island.
